Media Browser is a handy application that allows you to categorize all media data from your computer. Its user-friendly interface will display your media recordings, podcasts, movies, pictures, etc. and also give you free access to install new plug-ins on your computer. This application is so simple and easy to use that any user would be able to manage it.
While running the Media Browser Configurator, you can choose between a basic and an advanced interface depending on your needs and PC knowledge level. You can easily customize the appearance of the interface by changing the theme, adjusting the screensaver timer, showing the clock and daily weather forecast and many other.
You will be able to create your own collections where you can store all media data with just a few clicks. All you need to do in order to build a collection is to select the folders that contain the media files, add an image to your collection and press the "Add" button. You can always rename or delete your collections from the Media menu.
You can add your favorite podcasts to the collection by simply entering the correct radio station URL.
The application will also give you access to dozens of plug-ins, like themes, screensavers, subtitle providers and many other. Just go to the Plug-ins menu, click on the "More Plug-ins" button and choose the one that best fits your needs from the list.
An advantage of using this software is the fact that it comes with a Parental Control utility which lets the user to block the access on certain media folders. You will be able to select from 7 types of rating for the chosen folders.
